Christopher Peter Meloni has been known as a well-known American actor throughout his career. The actor is best known for the roles he was in "Law & Order Special Victims Unit". His interest in acting began in his early college days. He studied acting at University of Colorado at Boulder. While he's appeared on film and television it is his characters in the smaller screen which brought him fame and a large fans. The actor is able to portray characters of both the bad and good sides in the law enforcement system. He has the ability to attract the attention of his audience easily. When he first appeared on television, for his debut project, he played a serial murderer. Later he portrayed the character of an NYPD Investigator. The small screen performances of his have been recognized with multiple Emmy Awards nominations and PRISM Awards. His most attractive facial feature is said to be his distinctive blue eyes. They are believed to be his trademark. They help in portraying the rough and savage characters with a sense of humour. People's magazine's 2006 list for Sexiest Men Alive included him.
