Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka Shakar was the American and British sitarist. She was among the youngest and first female to win an award from the British House of Commons Shield she has had 9 Grammy Awards nominations and was the first artist of Indian of Indian descent to perform live on stage and also serve as a presenter at the ceremony. Anoushka shankar is one of India's rising stars in the sitar. She is the student and daughter of Ravi Shankar. Born in London She spent her beginning of her career bouncing between London and New Delhi. The first time she performed was at New Delhi at the tender age of 13. In 1999, she completed her high schooling at Encinitas CA. While she's still young, Anouskha is a star in her performing and recording. She has been accompanying her father on stage for several years. Her debut single album Anourag in 1998. It was nominated for a Grammy Award. Carnegie Hall album was released in 2002. In addition to performing in every major venue as well, she is a stage performer for a lengthy time. Her career extends beyond music. In 2002, she released an autobiography titled Bapi The Love of My Live this is an illustrated biography that is a honor to her late father Ravi Shankar. The year 2003 saw her appeared in Dance Like a Man as an actress and Bharat Natyam dancer. Anoushka Shakar's professional career is only going to continue to expand and expand.
